Letter of Intent signed with Charlton Athletic Community Trust

Milestone, the AIM quoted (AIM: MSG) provider of digital media and technology solutions is pleased to announce that Charlton Athletic Community Trust (“CACT”) have signed a letter of intent to license from Milestone the Be United Platform (“Platform”) and share commissions generated from the Platform.

Milestone has created the Passion Project, a youth engagement initiative that offers a holistic approach to young people’s self-development, education and training. As part of the Project, Milestone uses a number of digital and physical events to engage its participants.

The first engagement event was a pan-London football competition hosted in conjunction with ten of London’s professional football clubs’ community schemes. This event engaged more than 2,000 young people from across London’s boroughs and used a microsite, the Be United Platform, within the Passion Project as a central registration system.

CACT has a number of initiatives that aim to help young people to develop and find employment. They now wish to license the Platform from Milestone to register and track selected CACT initiatives, such as the registration of young people engaged in employment related training. CACT will also have access to Milestone’s emotional intelligence training and Mobile Business Solutions apps as required, on a subscription basis.

CACT intends to work with Milestone to introduce employers to the Passion Project as corporate partners, who may have their employment and training opportunities advertised on the site. Corporate partners are engaged on an annual fee paying membership basis determined by number of employees, total assets and annual turnover.

A further announcement will be made once the details of the corresponding licensing agreement (“Agreement”) have been finalised and the Agreement executed. The Agreement will see revenue sharing between Milestone and CACT, cross promotion and commercialisation of services and opportunities, as well as sharing of participants and employers to increase the opportunities available to young people through the Passion Project.
