Plan B and EOTO sign up to the Passion Project

Plan B signs to become an Ambassador and The Each One Teach One becomes a Founding Partner of Milestone’s Passion Project

Milestone, the AIM quoted (AIM: MSG) provider of digital media and technology solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Drew, also known as Plan B, as an Ambassador for the Passion Project, bringing with him The Each One Teach One Trust (“EOTO”) initiative as a Founding Partner.

Milestone is in the process of engaging a number of key organisations and individuals to become Founding Partners and Ambassadors of the Passion Project. These Founding partners and Ambassadors will work with Milestone to collaborate and co-promote each other’s initiatives and activities and co-produce key events.

The Passion Project uses a number of engagement methods to attract young people to the initiative that aims to help 16 – 24 year olds identify and develop their skills and passions into meaningful employment opportunities.

Ben Drew, primarily known as Plan B, is an English rapper, singer-songwriter, actor and film Director. After a troubled start in life, Ben is now a popular performer and inspiration for many young people with his talent recognised by key industry experts. Over his career he has won multiple awards, including the BRIT Award for Best British Male Solo Artist in 2011, as well as winning three Ivor Novello Awards, three MOBO Awards, three Q Awards and six UK Music Video Awards. Plan B has also built up an extensive fan-base with c. 8.9 million likes on Facebook and c. 462k followers on Twitter. As part of his role as an Ambassador, he will work with Milestone to promote the Passion Project through his social media networks.

In 2012, Plan B founded The Each One Teach One Trust (“EOTO”). EOTO is an innovative movement of dedicated groups whose aim is to help create opportunities and enable positive, long-term changes in the lives of young people. They work with inspiring individuals to give young people new skills to increase their confidence and improve their chances in life. This vision and ethos perfectly matches with the aims of the Passion Project and its existing Founding Partners resulting in Ben Drew bringing EOTO to the Project as a Founding Partner.

This new relationship offers an opportunity for extensive cross collaboration between Ben Drew, EOTO and the Passion Project which the Company believes will enhance both parties’ ability to engage and deliver targeted events and programmes to young people. These activities are aimed at inspiring and educating young people, whilst developing a sustainable and scalable business model.
